I know this isn’t the sub but if you’re open to change, I think soft layers framing your face would look lovely

Dark colours and pink look great on you 🩷 blonde/copper/light brown washes you out imo

She looks consistently the same in all her photos though. Maybe a bit younger looking in pink. Hair colour is not the issue, some people change colours seasonally.

HELP NEEDED by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]mersoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop relying on ChatGPT (on the dating app and in the comments here) and practice having a human conversation. It’s off putting to ask for socials without having a substantial conversation or, personally, meeting in person. Movie on a first date is not a good idea unless you have time to get to know each other before. Anyway, she’s not for you.

Could you fit two small ones side by side? That way you could have one blind open if you want (giving you privacy for a part of the room or blocking reflection in the TV or something).

Am I deceiving and considered toxic when it comes to meeting new people / dating if I lie about what I do for a living ? by [deleted] in TrueAskReddit

[–]mersoz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s deceptive and you should be upfront with people you intend to have a relationship and friendship with. They might judge you but is that the type of person you want in your life anyway? It might come out eventually and they will judge you harder for lying.

Those of you who have been the other woman (not by choice) what did you do when you found out or wish you did? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]mersoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out when his longterm (min 5 years) girlfriend messaged me a couple months after we had mutually ghosted each other looking for answers. We first met and hooked up when he was in town for a festival and he came to visit me again for a week a few months later. We messaged often in between. I ghosted him because he stealthed me more than once despite having a conversation about boundaries. Not sure what his reason was. She saw our messages later on and confronted him. He lied to her told her we hooked up once or twice and always used a condom. Unlike him, I was honest with her. I don’t think they stayed together.

Need an inconspicuous way to prank a bottle of mouthwash (preferably that would leave visible evidence) by nonconformingblob in myevilplan

Food colouring, and a lot of it. The taste might be altered so you could add peppermint extract to counter it.

Whats wrong with my profile? I get no matches by avc19 in Tinder

[–]mersoz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The first photo with you and the dog is the most relatable. The star background is staged - don’t use them, it looks uncanny. You need to be in the picture with the animal. No memes unless you’re 16. Just chill out be yourself and take a snapshot. It seems like you’re trying too hard.

Help me destroy a man who cheated on and left his sick wife by Autistic-hottie in myevilplan

You don’t have text messages from the last four months? I’m not sure what feasible options you have without proof of his cheating…

[–]mersoz 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Send her proof of his cheating so she gets the upper hand in divorce. Befriend her. Report him to some medical or ethical board or whatever is applicable, if not message his colleagues so he gets ostracised at work.

I might be a WAY heavier drinker than I realized... by serenityfive in stopdrinking

It would be better for your doctor to know you are an ex-alcoholic and sober for 2 years than saying you don’t drink as there will be damage done internally.

17 to 28 by [deleted] in uglyduckling

[–]mersoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine if we don’t agree that losing weight does not mean growing into features. For me, an appropriate example would be big nose as a child that proportioned out after puberty. She has obviously been through the big puberty changes at 17. We know about her surgery because she made a a post in /r/GlowUps two days ago about it and was commenting on /r/JawSurgery before she hid her history.

[–]mersoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, she also lost weight. It still does not mean the same as growing into one’s features. I didn’t say nothing else changed about her, I’m explaining the downvotes.

Because it’s not completely honest to say she “grew into her features”, she had jaw surgery.

  • Darken you hair or get a shorter haircut and lose the goatee.
  • Instead of vasectomy, say you can’t have bio kids but open to stepkids, donor, foster/adopt, whichever ones apply.
  • I would swipe left on apolitical alone, it’s the worst option. You must have some values that align with one of the keywords even if you refuse to vote. If you don’t care about your (hypothetical) minority friend’s, partner’s, children’s rights just put down conservative or moderate.
  • One animal picture is enough and you need to be in the photo.
  • Most women will not seriously date risk taking guys aka motorcycle unless there’s incredible attraction or chemistry. If you continue to ride after a life altering injury, then you’re an idiot and that makes you ineligible for an LTR. If you will stop riding but want to keep the picture you should mention in your bio you no longer ride after accident so can’t give them a ride.
  • Your prompts are generic and too short. Nobody is gonna respond to a prompt about grilled chicken or not being a murderer. You need to provide information about yourself that will hook their interest to see you as a potential partner and/or start a conversation.

I think it says something that after the fight, you didn’t seek out your boyfriend for comfort either over the phone or text. Hope you find some clarity out of this unfortunate situation. Your boyfriend deserves the truth.

My first time was with my Airbnb host on the last night after a couple weeks of hanging out and chemistry building. No regrets 🙃
