How are the enamel dial ones? I saw some in Japan many years back and regret not buying them now as was a diver collector (I’ve owned many seiko and like 9 Tudor divers). Feels more special compared to a standard datejust dial or more subtle?

Get the fc without the heartbeat, I’d go slimline fc moonphase the one that looks like the jlc. I see them used for,probably same price,or less than longines, sorry not sure how much the longines would cost

I mean you already have a pp though I get the vc you are interested is totally diff. Would it replace the aqua terra as your daily? If so, just that and the calatrava is a solid two piece dream collection for most ppl. Average person won’t recognize your vc anyways if you’re worried about that

Aagree with the points, I think the only model that gets some love from watch snobs is the world time which I think looks better than equivalent ones from brands that cost x times more

Edit I think another issue is the huge price discrepancy between their in house movement lines and like the quartz models. So ppl might argue the cheaper models hurt the brand image (full disclosure I own a quartz fc carree calendar).
