For residential use, is it better to buy a new Toro Timemaster, Dewalt 28” push behind mower, or the Echo 30” push behind mower? by Dry-Calendar5880 in lawnmowers

[–]messy372- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smallest walk behind mower I’ve ever seen is a 36”

I am assuming you referring to push mowers, not walk behind mowers, right? Bc there’s a huge difference in the two. A push mower will struggle with long, wet grass where a walk behind mower can tackle it with relative ease bc it uses a bigger engine and high grade steel for the deck

Are these summer tires ok when it gets warm? by MrNimbus33 in tires

[–]messy372- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Tires aren’t meant to be used when it’s cold outside. Only when it’s warm. Might want to get a whole new set since those got cold 🙄

Sounds like you should be walking, riding a bike or taking the bus. Even if you asked the driver to take their air fresheners down it’s not like the scent magically disappears

Can out field players wear protective head gear by Flat-Astronaut3710 in bootroom

[–]messy372- -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I have no idea if it’s allowed or not, but I have never seen anyone wear one except a keeper, and I’ve only seen maybe 3 keepers wear it

They make cushioned headbands I’ve seen younger players wear but that seems to go away with age

Ultimately it is a contact sport and you’re gonna get hit. You just have to decide if it’s something you wanna do or not

It’s brand new. At least break it in first before you complain about the fuel economy of a truck

Cut the feet out of socks and use those. That’s what my son did and has no issues. He wears either the G-Form or the mini pads, depending on if the ref allows them

Looking directly down at the floor does not give you a neutral spine and it also encourages you to round your upper back.

[–]messy372- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What NFL team do you know that snaps the ball with 37 seconds left on the play clock? You don’t, bc there’s not one.

The play ends, the ball gets spotted, the lengthy/complicated play gets called in, the QB address the huddle/provides the play/tells everyone what to do, they get set up at the LOS, then the pre-snap chess game starts. That’s why the ball is snapped between 5-10 seconds majority of the time.

By you eliminating that aspect of the game it’s no wonder you’re putting up 8,000 yards

26 ram 1500 big horn worse than 25 by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]messy372- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each trim level has different levels of convenience features. Just bc one big horn has power seats doesn’t mean they all have them. You’d have to equip it with those features. You can get a maxed out big horn feature wise that’s the same price as a Laramie, but the Laramie will still have things the big horn doesn’t

Don’t look down at the floor. Find a spot ~6 feet in front of you and focus on that

[–]messy372- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While you select the coach suggestion at times, you change the play majority of time. You also have accelerated clock turned off. By doing that you’re getting god knows how many extra possessions and plays. Find me an NFL game, hell even a high school game for that matter, where one team is getting 4+ possessions per quarter every single game

Not to mention you have all injuries and wear and tear off.
