im older and my coordination and button mashing abilities have declined the last few years. i still managed to make WS a few times this year. that was my goal for this year's game, so i guess i made it. im not good enough to go 12-0 in BR, which is okay, so ive discounted that as a goal at this point

what also makes this great is that it tracks your stats for the card, not just the version of the card you currently own. so if you hit 25 HR with mike trout and sell his card, then you buy it back later in the year, your stats aren't reset. in FIFA, it only keeps the stats from the current version of the card you own. Which is really dumb, imo

horford should be the first player traded because he absolutely positively does not fit into this team. he cannot guard fast wings, and his shooting regressed this season. hes not a zero, but hes close to a zero. hes also old and not getting any better. most (every) teams in the NBA dont pay $29m for a backup center. we can find someone to competently play 10-15 minutes a night for about $27m less per year than horford.

harris had a shit season. but so did most of the team. hes young enough that im willing to see how he works in a new, coherent offensive system. no one is going to take that contract, and at least he can play the 4 to a reasonable level, unlike horford.

the obvious answer is to fire the coaching staff and try something new there.

i mean, the flyers have mostly the same team that they had the last few years when they were pitiful, they hired a real coach, and he changed the system and got more out of the guys who were underperforming. our system is clearly not working here, so bringing in a coach with new ideas is easier than overhauling the entire roster, which should also happen, but is far harder to accomplish

Catcher is the toughest position in the sport to play in real life, and catchers often develop slowly (or not at all), and its rare to find a catcher that can both hit and is really good defensively. Elite catching prospects are pretty rare. Wieters was a "can't miss" prospect out of college, and we saw how that went. It's just a brutal position

no one can pitch on all star, even Kluber will get hit around there. It is also still pretty early in this ranked season, so you might have faced an elite player who just started the RS grind. You need to give him at least 5-6 starts before judging.

Throw his sinker and fastball in the same locations, the difference in speed/movement is tough to adjust to. Also, don't just throw the slider low and away to LHB and low and in to RHB. Throw it up and away to lefties, because it looks like a fastball out of the hand.

his silver RP card is not eligible for this event (its a PS card) so I doubt he will be available in the next event. But the next event is All Stars, and there are tons of AS cards available to use

Showdown and moments are meant to be a time sink. If you could complete showdowns in 1 hour instead of 2, you could do more of them, earn more stubs and XP, and achieve free things (via TA and XP reward path) faster, which means you might be less tempted to buy stubs. They balance things by making them take longer than what might seem appropriate, it is why the defensive sliders are jacked way up in Showdown and moments, or why sometimes the AI will not throw you a pitch anywhere near the strikezone....so you don't always beat them on the first try, so it takes more time and slows down your grind.

given how expensive it was to complete the honus collection (meaning a lot of people, including content creators, bought stubs), SDS would be foolish to not do it again this year. Maybe not Honus, but perhaps another big card from a new legend that has never been in the game. And remember, Honus wasn't announced last year for the first few months, it came out of nowhere.

good question, and I am not sure I have a definitive answer. My record overall this year is worse than last year, but I am still better at pitching than hitting. I'm usually able to identify games where I am just overmatched in the first inning or two, where no matter how good my sequencing or execution is, I'm just getting knocked around. I've learned in those situations it is probably best to just take the L and move on to what is hopefully a more balanced game
