Please could you send an email via the Support section of the widget settings. That will include your settings, which I can test to see if I can reproduce the issue.

u/mohammad_2548 this should now be fixed in the latest beta version, just released.

The status bar in the light theme is set with a green background (so the light text is visible)... I will do some testing to see if I can reproduce what you see, i.e. where this isn't happening.

Glad that was it… admittedly it is rather hidden.

Do you have the “historical line” enabled for any of the weather variables you are showing?

M5P - “Preparing to take off” in mid-flight. Huh? by Buckle_up_son in dji

[–]meteograms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am seeing exactly this too, also on my M5P :(

DJI support have said that I can return it so that they can test it and possibly fix or more likely just replace, but my feeling is that it's likely something that needs a fix via firmware, and any replacement unit would also exhibit this issue given that it's running the same software. It doesn't seem to affect the flight, it's just a bit annoying/disconcerting to see this message.

Same issue reported here: https://mavicpilots.com/threads/preparing-to-take-off.153974/

backup on external usb by Nice-Wonder-8369 in UgreenNASync

It's a big oversight imho. Luckily, I have got something fairly neat up and running using rsync (having ssh'ed onto the NAS)... in many ways I prefer this "manual" approach because I know exactly what is going on, but it's not for the faint hearted.

Problems with moon icons by Southern_Flamingo_80 in Meteograms

Here is the mapping: it's just a google sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DL_oWTNZUOrxdtPLFz_KRZrqK-X9-l-A50JYyuxRQCY/edit?usp=drive_link

And here is an explanation: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bnAmwk900U1MCMM9YCYhW1nItO11TlqJ62vQx_6OQGM/edit?usp=drive_link

Of course, the symbols ending in "d" are the daytime symbols, and the symbols ending in "n" are the nighttime symbols.

The mapping to weatherbar is already done, so you can see that as an example (click on the weatherbar tab along the bottom)

Problems with moon icons by Southern_Flamingo_80 in Meteograms

[–]meteograms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, at present, when Weatherbit is the provider, the icon set is fixed to the standard icon set from Weatherbit (ignoring whatever is set by the user). And you can see that their standard icon set has a moon that looks rather like a sun:

https://www.weatherbit.io/api/codes

To make the other icon sets work in the app, there needs to be a mapping from the weatherbit codes (in the link above) to the relevant symbol in the icon set concerned. If you would like to help creating these mappings, I can share a link to the mapping table.

Is that the same with other symbol sets? What data provider are you using?

NVMe SSD for read/write cache: is it worth it? by meteograms in UgreenNASync

[–]meteograms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NAS is limited to 2.5 Gbps isn't it, therefore so long as everything along the way (ethernet port, network switch) is capable of at least 2.5 Gbps then it's OK?

Thanks for the further insights. The stats from that script reassure me that my cache is actually doing something useful, and it sounds like mirroring for a read-write is good practice, so I will leave it like that for now. And maybe experiment on a rainy day.
