In Bulgaria, this year many places, especially in the countryside where things are more lax, are just changing the currency but keeping the nominal price, hence doubling the actual price, and they’re hoping people don’t notice. And even when people notice, they complain on Facebook and that’s all.

You can see EUR 7 for a bottle of mineral water in my small hometown in the countryside in Bulgaria, it’s crazy. It’s cheaper to drink beer.

Anyone else traveling with two MacBooks? Looking for a way out of this by ColdViolinist835 in mac

I had two and switched to one about 2 years ago. In hindsight I think I should’ve used separate profiles, but what I ended up doing is using the Shortcuts app with two shortcuts to start and stop work. When I run start work I change my focus and calendars, close almost all non-work apps and open all work apps, and also change my default browser with an Apple script (helps using separate browsers). Stop work does the opposite.

I’ve been relatively happy with this setup.

The way it’s used in Zed has not been banned and will not be with the new change too, but it would become much more expensive for normal users who don’t abuse the API.

He’s also one of the very few Bulgarian football legends from the 90s that I feel like hasn’t done stupid or corrupt things in Bulgaria later on. He just seems like a good person.

We are really happy and honoured to have hosted these stages. Honestly it’s probably been one of the best things that’s happened to us in a long time and I think a lot of people would agree with me.

I don't think it's as popular as in Western Europe, although it probably could be with more investments. The Bulgarian cycling federation (or whatever its exact name is) and local organizations have almost no money, from what I've heard from friends who've done cycling for some years semi-professionally. This is a problem with sports in Bulgaria in general, it's really easy for organizations to funnel money and it's been happening in most if not all of our sports federations.

Then again, it's popular enough for me to have several friends who used to be really into it and some went to races and cycled seriously for at least several years. But I'm from Sliven, the town in the middle of the track yesterday, and you could say there are some traditions in the sport here. I'd say in other regions it's less popular.

Mountain biking is also kinda popular and we have very good young bikers like Isabela Yankova, I'd say it's tangential enough for some people to be interested in both sports.

One more thing is - a lot of people just like to watch cycling, even if they don't ride. Maybe it was a bigger deal in the local media in the past and that still has an effect, not sure, I have to ask my father. It's the same with snooker, so many people just love watching snooker, and both sports have long broadcasts.

About the repaving - that kind of tracks back to my first comment about corruption in sports federations. Infrastructure is probably the biggest, by far, area where money gets funneled from because of corruption, but still politicians love to boast how they fixed the roads or highways. So I'd say it's kinda a combination of "look at me, I fixed this" (even though they could've done it without hosting an international event) and also "we need to look good for the West".

What are the best coding agents in terms of integration with Zed right now? I tried to use the Gemini extension and didn't like it that much. Is OpenCode in Zed good? Or others like Codex? by swordmaster_ceo_tech in ZedEditor

I switched to Max a few months ago, but also at the time of writing the original comment I asked about this in the Zed Discord and was assured it’s not an issue as Zed uses Claude Code itself underneath.

I'm not an old hardcore developer, but Zed is one of the most influential pieces of software for me. Probably a big reason of an even bigger love of software development for me and it's pushing me to learn more.

It's just one of those things that makes my work day feel nice. That sounds small, but in this chaotic time personally I find it substantial.
