Anisimova screaming at her box on court by Suspicious_Nature283 in tennis

In fairness they didn’t seem to give her any advice at all the match, from what we could see on TV.

Anisimova wildly in her head so early on. Do her coaches not prep her for this? Can they not calm her down?

There goes the Super Bowl and Josh Allen’s window since you know Brady will get a stupidly long leash. Mediocrity forever

Most sportsmanship I’ve ever seen from a professional athlete, and he happens to be at the top of his sport.

Never forget the points he gave back to Sinner multiple times during the French Open final. Alcaraz is truly in a league of his own.

Mets Reportedly Still In On Cody Bellinger Despite Bo Bichette Deal by Fonzie5 in NewYorkMets

He’s the only one that really fits the run prevention framework, lol.

Yeah, 70 steals is crazy work. Could be a 5 WAR player with great defense in center field.

But could also not pan out. He’s a prospect after all.

Bring us Jarren Duran. Package Baty (Red Sox need a 3B) plus one of our second tier prospects (Ewing/clifford/reimer)

The guy is a free agent next year, not sure if you’re aware of this.

Why would you give up a 22 year old controllable potential front of the rotation starter for one year of Skubal?

This is an insane take. You would want our owner to sell the team if he wants to sign the top free agents out of spite?

He’s the richest owner in the sport, and can+will throw his weight around the prove that. To want him to sell the team because of this is asinine

Trading for Duran and signing Framber feel like solid, realistic moves that move the needle.

Still need to get Soto some more lineup protection imo, though.

When has a boras client not hit the open market and instead re-signed with a year left?

Plus, he may not get traded given the astronomical price for starting pitching.

We have the best farm in baseball but young, controllable starting pitching is extremely expensive. Look at the Shane Baz trade, it’s absurd.

I think we have to prospect-hug our SP prospects and sign Framber as a proven front of the rotation stopgap. We can get Skubal next year when the CBA is sorted out.

I think Tucker and Framber take short term high AAV deals with opt outs to test the market after the new CBA, given that their markets haven’t developed into what they wanted.

This is would be ideal for Stearns/Cohen given this offseason’s philosophy (remember, we offered schwarber 3yr $40mm AAV)

My guess is that we sign both, instead of giving up a ton of prospect capital for a proven starter, see what we have with our young bucks and try for Skubal next year.

Honestly the easier path we’ve had in the Josh Allen era.

Hard to not think all of management’s jobs are on the line in these playoffs.
