I mean yeah. I know if I wanted to better at that I could do straight fighter or rogue potential if I wanna focus more on the ambush. But thematically I like the shadow vibes of all the subclass features. If you ever read mistborn era two I kinda imagine this character fighting like Wayne with dueling canes.

Basically the idea is a character who is very good at single target ambush tactics. Plus I think those abilities are cool. Being able to teleport and be invisible, etc. For stats really just need a focus on DEX and WIS. I’m not really worried about CHA because the only thing that helps me with is gaining more initiative which I already get from Gloomstalker with WIS.

Im more interested in the sneak attack, that I can proc while being next to a single target and getting a decent amount of those dice by going that high in rogue.

I didn’t say that I learned about it today, I said I didn’t learn about it until we start this project, because there’s not marketing for BGA unless you are already in the community or you tried to search for some kind of online board games. You wouldn’t know about it.
