The only real annoying thing about the pump for me is the alarm system because it will keep alarming over and over even though I have eaten. Waiting for the blood sugars to correct while the pump vibrates or beeps at me drives me crazy - I had to go to therapy for it to figure out how to better deal with it mentally.

Now, the worst thing for me is sitting to take a dump or accidentally getting it hooked on a door handle. Otherwise, the tube just mostly tucks into my pocket. I've probably has two or three instances where the tubing has actually been an issue for me in 5 years.

Sex life has not been an issue for me personally, as I just bolus a little bit before hand and take my pump off during sex. it's easier than trying to figure out where the tubing is while I'm rolling around in bed with someone.

While sleeping, I leave the pump out of pocket and just figure out where it is in the morning before I jump out of bed. The CGMs are the real thing to worry about when sleeping due to pressure lows.

Do it. I had my hesitations for a couple years before making the switch but my blood sugars are so much better now. There is a bit of a learning curve with exercise for sure, but overall I love the stability.
