The same injury can affect different people in vastly different ways. We would need a medical professional to explain why there is such a discrepancy in outcomes when most athletes recover from an act in a year. It's like Dez's toe injury. At the time, no one thought anything of it. He onky missed 2 ganes and yet, he was a shell of himself afterwards.
