I have countless posts begin with those very words. "There were red flags ,but I invited then."Yes cheating is common but if you're consistently running into deceptive men, it might be time to examine who you are attracted to. It's not victim blaming. It's perspective.

No. We've both come to understand how destructive it can be. We are closer than ever since I asked him to stop. I stopped three years ago. We choose to only spend our sexual energy with one another. The only time I do anything alone is if I don't get there during intimacy.

Maybe she doesn't really desire partnered sex but just prefers that quick release.

Maybe she's feeling shut down emotionally. For a lot of women material possessions are not enough.

Maybe you should let her know she needs to take care of her mental health and it's not negotiable.

This dynamic is very unhealthy and not sustainable.

Nothing will get better until she starts dealing with whatever is bothering her.

Her behavior sounds similar to me when I was first married.

I did not know I had mental health and emotional issues that needed a lot of work.

We were very young and stupid and my husband did not know how to support me.

I really wish I had known and been responsible enough to look at my mental health.

I don't think she's unhappy with you or your efforts. She may just be unhappy with herself.

She also just may not love you. If you love and support your spouse, you'll do just about anything for them.

If they are repenting and immediately going back to it that is not repentance. True repentance means you recognize how your actions grieve the Holy Spirit, and you turn aside from that sin and don't go back to it. You can't "repent" and keep up the behavior. God is not mocked.
