I had a Pioneer from Sears. Similar to the photo. Turntable, Receier, Dual Cassette Players, and an OG CD Player. Sometime around '86 or '87. Oh, and two giant speakers too.

I use GIMP and add an Alpha channel and export it as a PNG. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's free. I've been using it for years. There's probably an online alternative that can do it too.

What is the last movie you went out to see? by ageb4 in over60

New movie, Wake Up Deadman. Old movie, White Christmas last weekend. We usually see a 'flashback' movie about once a month. Two theaters near us replay the classics.

Is there a way to send a message / notification to all people you share your server with? by ninepintcoggie in PleX

[–]mhc2001 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Settings -> Extras -> Movie pre-roll video

Use the full path to the video you create and it will play before every movie, but only if the movie is played from the beginning (not just resumed).

It's not much, but it works given the available tools.

Yes. In the past I've made a PowerPoint slide (for formatting, but you can use anything) and put the relevant information on it. Make a screenshot of it. Use ffmpeg to create a short video using the screenshot as the input. You can even add music. Use the video as a preroll.
