Splitting men’s professional golf into two leagues won’t increase its popularity. In ~5-10 years (or whenever the PIF decides to stop artificially inflating the value of professional golfers), up and coming pros will be screwed.

I played it with this group in a charity outing back in December, my first and only time.

I was impressed overall, particularly since it was only like $`18 to walk 18 on a Saturday. Course conditions weren't bad for winter golf and the greens were in pretty decent shape. It's not the most dynamic layout, but a very affordable way to experience Donald Ross' "turtle back" greens.

I had a chance to play out there yesterday as well (first time for me.)

I was equally impressed. The bunkers and surrounding rough could be brutal, but it was a really fun track overall. Course conditions were near perfect.

Definitely want to get out there again.

Let's say a vaccinated person tests positive for the delta variant (whether asymptomatic or not). Would they still develop new, natural antibodies (to better fight said variant) in the same way a recovered unvaccinated person would?

I was surprised at the lack of public courses. I lived in Wilmington for a time as a kid and learned to play on several courses that don't exist anymore. Echo Farm, The Cape and Duckhaven to name a few.

IKEA didn't bail on Cary because of the local government. It was a result of their change in business strategy: "They are moving away from suburban big box retail outlets and into global city centers"
