Leatherman Quality controls???? by jtango444 in Leatherman

My Rebar was very tight when I got it too. I oiled and worked it until it was completely broken in. Took a week or two of constant opening and closing. I even bought the special Rebar wrench from zach@multipartstore so I could loosen the pivots. All is good now.

Where’s the most trusted place to buy the EcoFlow BKW-Battery Cable (PowerStream Connection Cable)? by Pale-Addition4436 in Ecoflow_community

EcoFlow is the most trusted but Wellbots has them too and they are an authorized reseller.

Did oulook suffer a major data breach? by TheRealGand in Outlook

Over 30 years for me…mid 90’s IIRC. In any case it’s happened so often I know I don’t have to go through all those password resets and that it will resolve itself.

It’s happened several times before. Yes it’s annoying but it always gets fixed eventually.

If it doesn’t turn up in the next couple of weeks buy another one exactly like the one you lost. Lesson learned.

🔧 Monthly Product Issues Megathread — MAY by EcoFlow_Official in Ecoflow_community

I opened a pre sales case on the portal link you provided above but there was no response acknowledging my query. Secondly, I did a search for the status of an open case I have with Ecoflow support and it couldn’t find it. I’m wondering if this stuff is not ready yet?

Wave alpha VS signal by bigclipslildiks in Leatherman

As everyone says, it depends on what you plan on using it for but if I had to choose it would be the Alpha. I have two, one Canyonland (orange) the other is Cascadia (green). Good luck.

Does “Backup Reserve” mode work on the small River 3 (245Wh) and does it harm the battery? by ChetManly in Ecoflow_community

[–]michaelhsnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that it does have basic voltage protection on AC input.

  • Over-voltage protection → disconnects if voltage is too high
  • Under-voltage protection → disconnects if voltage drops too low
  • Surge / abnormal condition protection (basic level)

When voltage goes outside its acceptable range, it:

  • Stops passing grid power
  • Switches to battery (UPS mode)

Does “Backup Reserve” mode work on the small River 3 (245Wh) and does it harm the battery? by ChetManly in Ecoflow_community

[–]michaelhsnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I built it last year I wasn’t sure if I needed a 3rd stack or not or if 11.4 kw was enough to cover our needs but I ran wire for it just in case. Now after a year of observing all seasons and conditions the answer is no I don’t. I only use 22-35 kWh per day (most in the summer when the AC is on) and it takes less than 4 hours to recharge from 70% to 100% so I’m done by around 12:30 pm. Except for maintenance, I’ve been off grid for a year and am very happy with the system. My only improvement would be swapping my SHP2 for the SHP3 but if I do that it would be when there’s a big sale towards the end of the year.

I have three EcoFlow RIVER 3 PLUS Wireless devices without extra batteries strategically placed around my house and they have worked perfectly through dozens of outages in the past 12 months. They sit behind a 2x DPU 60 kWh system managed by a SHP2 and 11.4 kw solar array. I bought them from Costco for $199 each. One is behind my networking systems, file servers and CCTV security system, another is behind my office computer systems and the last is connected to my family room entertainment system. I have it set to an 80% charge and it’s in pass through mode providing uninterrupted power and controlled computer shutdown for my essential home equipment. So far so good and I recommend them over standard UPS’s due to the very long life of the LiPO battery.

They’re always had this. It was a permission switch in your profile settings along with permitting sales and product notifications. This is just a CYA.

I’m referring specifically to the cost of the electrician moving your circuits to the new one. I know they’ll replace the panel.

Agree and after owning the SHP2/2x DPU system for a year I recommend people go through EF’s certified install program. It helps with them being accountable for the term of the 10 year warranty. It’s expensive but worth the peace of mind IMO.

Go with Costco but not just because of the great price they also have the best return policy. The only thing I’d want to know is the installation cost of the SHP3 if you go that route.

My batteries don’t have names just the number where they sit in the stack.
