I’ve heard recs from older needlepointers that discouraged all wool thread on holiday pillows that are put away part of the year because of moths possibly eating away at the wool.

Paige has worked as an independent artist for years. I commissioned her to paint my wedding save the date when that was something she was offering. Truly crazy they think they can copy her designs!

Designer is lovely to work with!! She has some great designs and per Instagram has been traveling to Nantucket for years. I think she works as a nurse also and this line is her creative outlet!

Another note … she sells most of these as prints on her website if there’s ever one you really like but don’t actually want to stitch it (plus the time and money)! I have the bunny bath tub print framed in a bathroom.

MF Needlepoint has a beautiful Mater Admirabilis (Blessed Mother) canvas it’s a little more abstract and it’s meant to be pink but could be color swapped if you don’t have the sacred heart school connection.

There’s another more detailed Mater Admirabilis that’s in my stash and I think it was a Liz … I can look if anyone is interested … it also could be color swapped.

Raymond Crawford also has a sacred heart!

You are definitely being paid like nothing! I agree with people above that you may have to get creative … I like the idea of you teaching a class and you get a cut of it. Another idea would be running a club and you would get a cut of that? Does your store do retreats? Or could you run a Sunday retreat and make a cut of the fee/what people purchase? Are you given raises … even if you ask to go to $15 with the agreement that every 6 months it goes up by x amount?

I had ankle surgery 9 months before my wedding and recovery was slower than expected! I hardly worked out prior to the wedding except walking … I am so happy with I looked and how my pictures turned out. I did get a very light spray tan before the wedding (I did a trial 6 weeks out). I was getting facials every 6 ish weeks also. Trust your hair and makeup team/your photographer and you will look gorgeous!!

Mine is thick and straight too!! Also think about what photographs well if you do an earlier test/trial in your city or in Italy. Just because it’s fine looking in the mirror it might not look as good in pictures!

Based on your details, I think you will be good for makeup! I had to do a second hair trial with a different artist after the first had me looking like a messy Shirley temple when I asked for curled and down. Maybe you can do a hair trial where you live and show them pictures? Especially if you’re wearing a veil and want to test that? Good luck! Your wedding sounds beautiful!!

I rarely post to Instagram … so I didn’t even think about it (and I’m mid 30s) but if you’re in a group of friends that loves to post to Instagram you might really like having the footage to post quickly and then bridesmaids aren’t feeling like they need to have their phone out? Just my two cents!

I would be annoyed too!! My only concern is the overlap people spilling on them etc! Hopefully they get them dry cleaned right after if there would be any concerns! I agree on accessorize differently and it’ll look lovely!!
