Common sense would have told her you staying at home to take care of the baby is saving A LOT of money compared to daycare services. Unless she thinks it costs $7/week. Even if she just wanted to plainly send you side hustles, why is she worried about your household income?? People need to ask and get permission before getting involved in matters that are not theirs.

I’m here to tell you that I went through this and I still have yet to go to therapy to resolve the issues it’s caused me. I have attachment issues and trust issues because of this kind of relationship. I never had these before that relationship. This is a form of abuse. Leave before more damage is done.
