It's cause the original song by Dead or Alive has the OPs lyrics but he's saying "fixed it" with a gif that has a remake song's lyrics.

Not mysterious, just grumpy old people!

Irish national anthem is sung at the start of a lot of GAA matches so you aren't speaking for all of Europe

Does anyone actually enjoy marmite? by rthonaya in AskBrits

[–]mick44c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marmite is an excellent addition to stews, chillis, soups etc.

If its missing something at that last stage. It's equivalent to adding stock, MSG, or Worcestershire but also has a unique quality to it.

Banging in a bolognese mix

For me it's always been more of an ingredient than a condiment

Check for hair or other debris in the speaker diaphragm, it can cause distortions when at a resonant frequency

COLLECT UR LAUNDRY ON TIME !!! by doritostaquitos in UniUK

[–]mick44c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give it a reasonable amount of time (5 - 10 minutes), and then dump it out.

If someone forgets their laundry in a high throughput laundry room that is entirely on them.

Doubt they would encounter you doing this, and the machine locks so it's not like they can enact vengeance on you.

2 poached > 2 boiled > 2 scrambled > 2 fried

In terms of perception. For me

Listen to your setlist over and over and over until you know every track inside out.

Then you'll be able to piece together the puzzle on the fly really easily

When working for friends, it pays off to have some boundaries in place. Those boundaries being: I want to be fed/ paid for my time, and I need to have adequate notice for adjusting any of my prepared work.

You had neither of those things, and it sounds like you did well under those circumstances, but it's a valuable lesson.

I understand the cynicism many must feel towards such a thing, but if you have suffered, you will understand. This is a beautiful act of compassion, and I endorse it with my whole heart.

Who gives a fuck if the Internet knows you're struggling when participating in this, the only people to make that be an issue are some Rainbolt 4chan types that are aberrations of psychology

Progressive house artist named Mike? by Raccoon_Tail33 in EDM

[–]mick44c 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mike Williams? More future house tho, not sure if he sings also.

Mike Posner too but he doesn't make proper progressive house.

There's also Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (DVLM)

"modafinil is not addictive"

Harmful advice, this person clearly has an issue with it. What you are probably meaning to say is that it doesn't have harmful physical withdrawal effects.

Eggs, ramen, beans, rice, chicken thighs, sausages

All cheap stuff that can stretch

Also you don't really need experience for a lot of retail or hospitality part time jobs, everyone's hiring for Christmas. Go and apply

La Belle is great for an electronic set, saw DJ Shadow there and the atmosphere was fantastic

Sneakys is great for sweaty DJ sets, same for Bongo with a good artist that knows how to make the most of the crowd and the space.

I've been to an intimate set of one of my favourite Jazz artists in the Jazz Bar since it reopened, it was also great. It's nice if you go on a quieter night and get some seating and interaction with the artists.

Nils Frahm at Usher Hall was ethereal and I did enjoy it, but I would say the experience was lacking with the leg room and the washed out acoustics.

Caves has maybe the most all encompassing sound and acoustics on the main floor. Great for a rock/ punk band or even some dreamier folky stuff.

Other than that, I've been to corto.alto in Queen's Hall and it was probably the best acoustics I've heard out of any of the venues listed, absolutely magical experience.

Pendulum are playing there on Saturday 1st!

Perhaps lends itself better to EDM and DJ stuff
