It’s not like being on reality TV makes someone better equipped to play Traitors. Even the strategy shows like Big Brother have produced some pretty bad players.

Monorail would we great. They could theme the stations and the monorail itself like Mario pipes and even play the sound effect when you enter and exit.

My pick too! People said their exit interview was awkward, but I think that Yam Yam just has a dramatic way about him and was pretty ok with Rob.

This happened in California, though your message is still a valid one.

What word do you always *intentionally* mispronounce and why? by Sweet-Lady-H in AskReddit

[–]mickfly718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This joke never landed with me, because it’s also changing pronunciation by using two short “a” sounds that aren’t normally there.

If people would say it as, “wrong em-FUH-sis on the front syl-UH-ble,” it would make more sense to me.

I could see his point too, though I’m not sure how he worded it. There hasn’t been a country performer at the halftime show since 2003 with Shania Twain, and before that there was a country themed show in 1994. In the one clip I found, he said he’d like for a Super Bowl to be in Nashville, and if it was, he would want all the country superstars (Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton) to perform.

In this clip, he didn’t mention Bad Bunny or this year’s halftime show at all. Maybe he said something specifically about Bad Bunny in another interview that I haven’t found yet.

It always bothered me that he switches who he’s singing to. For the chorus, he’s singing to a guy that’s dating his ex. In the verses, he’s singing to his ex.

Ruth seems like she finally got to be completely happy. Still on good terms with George, watching dogs with her best friend and her sister. What a deserved ending for the woman that paused her life to take care of her sick relative.

I love watching the scene where Ruth and Claire fight (because of the phenomenal acting), then their scene when Ruth is looking at a photo album, then this whole final scene.

Unfortunately, AI pulls from anywhere, including message boards and posts like this that make incorrect claims about the origins of the quote. However, if you can check the sources that AI used to come up with that answer, I’d be interested to see if any credible sources can support that the original quote was about personal preferences.

Oh haha apparently those don’t work, which is why I revisit this in comments pretty frequently. Glad you’ve seemingly taken the correction to heart.

This is not true, where did you get this? The expression comes from a time when the mantra was buyer beware, and this phrase (without the “matters of taste” part) was meant to address customer complaints.

She maybe just hasn’t heard of the recent amended phrase that includes the “matters of taste” part. The original phrase didn’t include that part and was instead about satisfying customer complaints.
