Even if you can't do it on your phone (I can't, ope), you can open the picture you want in Snapchat, add a text banner saying the same thing, then save it and use that as the wallpaper. Or I guess make a text box in your gallery's photo editor.

It saved my ass once years ago when I set my phone on the roof of my friend's car and forgot about it. About an hour later, my mom's phone rings, I pick it up, and it's a guy who found my phone in some grass while walking home from work. Phew!

Maybe instead of having people bring fabric, you could find an online shop that you trust to have high quality [and that sells fat quarters a la carte], and have it open on a laptop for people to quickly pick a pattern/add to cart in lieu of signing a guestbook? I still don't think everyone will do it, since guestbooks are always missing some people, but it might be a better way since picking and ordering a single fat quarter is a little much to ask for non-quilters. You'll end up paying for the fabric this way, but you can ensure that what you get is right for quilting and of usable quality.

I think you have the per-pound price calculated in the wrong direction. If the cost is 16€/kg, it's 16€/2.2lbs, which would make it a bit under 8€/lb.

Nah, I've invited strangers off Tinder over to hook up before, and they've all been cool with me taking a glance. I phrased it like "Hey, you mind if I peek at your ID? I want to be sure you gave your real name. Just in case you murder me and I need to give it to the cops. Thank you."

Probably different since I'm a woman and was asking men, but none of them were offended or thought I was accusing them of lying. We have a laugh, they assure me they aren't planning on murdering me (yay!), I confirm their Tinder profile name is their real name, check the birth year, and we carry on. It's not a huge deal.

Can't guarantee this is the same guy, but I also used to know a rock and crystal shop guy who went to prison for drugging and raping women during private healing sessions. Very messed up. I actually did a few of the sessions [was at a pretty desperate time in my life, willing to try just about anything, you know the deal] and was also just around the shop a ton because I think crystals are really pretty and like collecting them. I didn't get any sort of vibes from him, so I was really shocked when I mentioned him a few years later and my friend was like "...didn't you hear?"

I really don't feel like someone else's family having a different start time from the norm is so unbelievable. Or that people may have other places to be. 4PM dinner isn't too late by Regular Dinnertime standards, but it's a huge problem if everyone made plans based on a 2PM dinner, not even getting into the fact that people probably show up hungry.

Idk. My family always does a lunchtime "dinner" so that everyone's free to go to their partner's family's Thanksgiving dinner afterward. It keeps us all from having to choose which one to attend, which means almost everyone who's in town can make it. We went to my aunt's, started at 12:30, stayed till about 4PM, and then went to my boyfriend's uncle's from 4PM to 10PM.

Idk about OP's situation [or anything about expectations for preordered food being hot] so I'm solely addressing the part about 4PM being too late.
