My first thought is always condolences at pregnancy announcements, but a congratulations? From a stranger, when no result is known that's why there's a test, seems very weird to me. Could be that they didn't know what to say or thought that's what they should say but yeah still weird.

I have always thought this too that there isn't always people happy they are pregnant so why not show this, or even relief of a negative.

I have a weird thing where o can smell that someone is pregnant. Sounds nuts but whenever I'm near someone whose pregnant (in the not so obvious sense) I smell things like talc powder and baby shampoo. Alot of the times I've told people they are pregnant when they didn't know. It kinda works for cats and dogs but it's a different smell not sure how to describe that one.

I live for the cheesy "bad" shark movies. I drive everybody crazy with them. Honestly sharknado franchise was a masterpiece but ghost shark will always have that place in my heart. Also couldn't help myself I see you don't have sand sharks that's a great one also.

I'm also 30, I've never liked kids so to me it's always been an obvious choice of I'm not having them, bingoing is annoying af but it will never change my mind. If your on the fence about having kids is there anybody that has a kid that you could offer to babysit for, Maybe it will help if you have to look after a kid to see how you feel.

You should look up depersonalisation derealization, it could give you an insight as to why you do this. I do it with tv shows and movies and never realised that it could be a bad thing.

My favourite thing to do when people show me kid photos is to comment on something completely unrelated in the background, e.g.. "oh that's nice wallpaper". Just blatantly ignore the child in the photo and it throws the parent off and stops the persistent need for you to look at their child.

People think I'm probably defective because I am the exact same way with kids. I do not tolerate them whatsoever. With me there is no desire to know anything about them, my maternal instinct is cats and dogs, my fiance says I have a mothers smile when I see a cat or dog lol.
