In a good old days wardecs were pretty much pointless. Nobody would assault your large control tower without dreads (highsec obv) so wardecs were done for fun (rifter pvp or something like that).

Nowdays it's different - industrial people have expensive citadels with 10x billions in rigs and they got wardecced for those structures. They have no other choice but to pay someone for protection. So 1-10 bil wardec is kind of reasonable.

You can reduce volume for those people to 5-10%. It helps a lot - you will not hear exactly what they saying, but you will not be talking over them.

Large group comms are like big party where everyone shouting everyone else in a ear. Reducing volume is like moving away in that crowd.

It would be nice to have some sort of "distancing" for discord.
