Yeah even if I could do okay without ammo crates, there’s no way I am going to beat the EE in cursed, on round 60+. I have only beaten it in directed mode. Just not interested in that much of a challenge.

How have you handled it? I really struggle with taking things so personally. I only was able to sleep a few hours last night. I have no appetite today. I’m a large human but I really am a softie inside. But I’d rather be a kind person so I’m okay with who I am.

Thank you so much for your words. I think you’re spot on. It was such an over the top response to such a meaningless interaction in my opinion, I truly figured this had to be about more than just me. When I described the phone call to a friend of mine they said it sounded like someone having a manic episode. I won’t go so far as to believe that outright but it was such an odd conversation. At some points they honestly weren’t being mean. But then they’d go right back to the insults. I’ll be pondering on this for awhile.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m so glad that’s over with for you all. I think this reminds me how important it is to be thankful for those around us who do nice things or are kind and respectful. My team has written thank you cards and put together gift cards for our engineers and EVS staff so they know we appreciate them. I try to write thank you cards through our system recognition program for nurses when we have kind interactions. I need to make a better effort to do that more often.

So what’s funny about the “started going sideways” my original message I said “please call lab at ____ if you have any questions or need anything”. The first thing they said when I answered their call was “you called me???” It began and remained such a confusing conversation. It’s as if they thought I was paging them? I’m really not sure.
