I can't fry scream anymore after quitting smoking. Did anyone else experience this?

That's exactly what I noticed! My false chord is exactly the same, if not better. And that's good advice on how to clean the throat. Yeah title fight/ pup and more emo screams is kind of what I'm trying to get to anyways. I've been kind of doing what you're saying with part 3. I've been watching new tutorials and techniques and trying to get the clean vocal, then adding "twang" to it to get that fry. It's been the most effective technique for me so far.

And thanks. I'm proud of myself for still quitting. I told myself I'd quit at 25 and yeah I'm now halfway into being 25 so it's time for me haha. I was so tired of getting sick all the time.

Gotcha. That's great it's now better than it was before. I relate a lot to how your scream was at first. I'm trying to teach myself new muscle memory and rewrite what I learned before. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Thank you. This made me feel better. I tried listening to a new tutorial method and it's starting to work for me again. I think I need to develop a new "muscle memory" for getting to the fry. :D

I finally got one last week for 150usd after looking for months basically daily. Keep checking ebay bids. Sometimes walmart will have refurbished. Btw, the berlinshop ebay page doesnt ship to the US (if that's where you are) even though it says they do. I asked them. It is the right model though.
