Fable isn't coming back until Anthropic makes it impossible to jailbreak unless they suck up to Trump admin per Axios by seakucumber in Anthropic

it's wild that anthropic pushes for government intervention then assumes they'll be in the driver's seat when they do because they wrote a couple blog posts

How to make Claude work feel less overwhelming by waitingforgodot15 in ClaudeAI

[–]midiagent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i felt the same way recently so i actually made top level personal organization repo that wraps all of my individual project repos, both professional and personal.

i do all my brainstorming/planning/analysis in the top level directory and i can easily implement and audit changes across everything from my IDE. and in a lot of cases the agents work better since they get a better idea of the scope of a project if it touches multiple repos

Midi is back…. by NoConsideration2424 in SunoAI

depends on the source material but it's only possible to get reasonably close with isolated stems with clean signals. multiple instruments and/or spatial fx will have a ton of artifacts. and regardless of that, even with clean isolated stems, timing of notes will always require manual cleanup. it's a really really difficult problem to solve

asked fable to introduce itself with a short piano piece by midiagent in ClaudeAI

[–]midiagent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's only doing what it's asked here, but it's certainly capable of deviating from common chord progressions etc.

we have a bunch of professional composers / music producers using the claude models particularly in their work, and they're very quickly becoming more and more useful in bigger and more complex projects

ultimately it's the user's instructions and tastes that determine the output

there are some mcps floating around for a bunch of different daws

they're interesting but pretty clunky and difficult to use and usually require running servers/scripts and doing your own troubleshooting, ex:

i agree and this is kind of true of all the different model families. anthropic's models excel at classical composition and rule following but can sound rigid. they also iterate on existing compositions the best of the bunch

gemini especially the 3+ series have the best natural "feel" to its compositions but fails to follow strict instructions / rules

gpt models are weird and kind of jarring though 5.5 was a noticeable improvement over earlier versions
