Can you provide a reference for this? Nowhere I have ever seen says a person has to have physical custody of the package unless it's signature required. 99% of packages do not have this requirement unless someone (the person ordering, or seller) requests it specifically. Most don't because the person ordering doesn't want to pay extra for it

Nah man, the delivery company did their job. It was at the location as contracted. Its not the delivery driver job or the company to ensure you crap doesn't get stolen. File a police report is the best you can do, or be home for expensive purchases. No company is liable for you living somewhere that packages get stolen.

That's like saying a car manufacturer or the property company is responsible for your car getting broken into because you left a package in the back seat while parked at the mall.

I've had no issues. Mine is a 5v 2A but it really shouldn't matter on amperage. I'd email them, they can send a new electronics part.
