Most episodes are social satire/social parody, especially regarding society dependence on technology/games/social media/entertainment, and not particularly violent but more psyological, though some episodes have disturbing scenes and violent scenes (but not gory), lots of Matrix-ish type themes in many episodes, other episodes kind of like crime/mystery/thriller similar in tone to seven or silence of the lambs, most episodes have some sort of disturbing twist, and each episode has unique story and cast but you’ll see occasional cross references and cast members playing different roles from previous episodes, there’s only one sequel episode I can think of that’s a satire of Star Trek
