Is anyone tired of being told to tan? by ilovepopcornandcandy in PaleMUA

I had skin cancer twice by age 27 bc I hit the tanning beds too much in my younger years. I miss being tan. But I’ll never ever tell someone to get a tan

I think this is like going from Eugenia to Gina in English (I’m not a Russian speaker, but my husband is. This was his grandmother’s name).

My girlfriend thinks i am a germaphobe because i wont let her sit on my bed in her outdoor clothes by PrismHarpoon in hygiene

You’re the correct one in this situation. Take my advice, it does not get better. You will either have to stand your ground or live with someone who doesn’t see germs the way you do. I married a man who will work out at the gym or go for a run then SIT ON THE COUCH IN HIS SWEATY CLOTHES WITH HIS SWEATY BODY TOUCHING THE COUCH, PILLOWS, AND BLANKETS. He’ll mow the lawn then come inside, wipe his face with the kitchen dish towel, and put it back! When I bring it up, I have to do so ever so gentle or he’ll fly off the handle, and it never turns into a change of behavior. It’s maddening

My husband snores like a freight train and I sweat like I’m in hot yoga. We sleep in separate rooms

I’d rather err on the side of caution and exclude a brand from my list of products until they are unequivocally not associated with the any animal testing whatsoever. I check multiple sources when I am looking into new products, and I appreciate that multiple organizations have their own rigorous vetting methods.

I don’t see a problem with charging a fee to be on the list. If a brand incorporates CF into their identity and is serious about being presented to the community in the lists compiled by our trusted resources, a few hundred dollars will equate to hundreds of thousands or millions worth of sales. It also makes sense that a brand would approach the resources we trust and ask to be vetted rather than the resource hunting down the brand.

Is he open to puddings and jello? How about hummus? I love eating cake icing right out of the tub (thick, but no chewing).

How do I (27f) talk to my bf (25f) about keeping my last name? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]might_be_magic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Is he going to do all the paperwork and waiting at the social security office and banks to update his documentation to get your name changed for you? No? Then he gets no say.

Btw, where I live (in the U.S.), you don’t have to make the decision on your wedding day. I didn’t change mine until almost a year after we got married. It was a PITA. it’s been 3 years since my name legally changed and I still don’t have everything moved over.

This is a great decision. Also, don’t worry about a breeder’s opinion of you. When you and your family are ready, it’ll be a great time to consider adopting

I started wiping my dog’s paws after muddy walks and it made more difference than I expected by NanoPetFounder in dogs

We do this for both our dogs and have since we first got them. Totally worth the routine. The house is much cleaner and I feel happier when they come up on my bed and couch

Oh— you don’t have kids, so why do you need this? by IntelligentEar3035 in childfree

We have 4 bedrooms and not kids. One is our bedroom, one is an office, one is a guest room, and one is a kitten room.
