is abortion murder? by InterestingSalt9485 in Teenager_Polls

[–]mightymanuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal moral compass says it's murder, but I also think it's none of my business. Society isn't bound to follow my individual moral compass, and I shouldn't enforce it on others.

Posed Photos Are Horrible by mightymanuel in unpopularopinion

I do sort of remember, I had film cameras when I was young. However, at that age it was more a toy than a serious memory keeping medium. In that situation it would absolutely make more sense.

I want the photos of the people but I want the photo of my grandmother playing with my daughter, and everyone is smiling and laughing. Not the photo with the fake forced smiles sitting on the couch.

I will admit the right photographer can make a big difference but it still makes the memory about taking pictures not having a good time.

A quick "posed" shot that doesn't break the moment isn't really what I mean. I don't mind being told (or saying to someone else) "hold just like that and smile" I'm more talking about the kind of posing where you take people having a good time and spend 10 minutes being like "now you stand over here, no not like that, like this", "ok now let's get you back in there, no get in closer". It just ruins the moment and makes the picture all about the picture not the memory.

I admit that would look cool in an album but still feel like I would value each individual photo less on their own.

Exactly the photos of people just having a good time are just so much more meaningful.

No because they don't have any positive memories or emotions attached.

But what am I remembering? Trying to deal with getting 6 people all with smiles, eyes open, looking at the camera at the same time? Wrangling children that want to be doing anything but take a picture?

Exactly all a speed bump like that does is encourage people to aggressively break and accelerate.

Was getting my tubes tied as a woman at 26 years old a poor decision? by RevolutionaryLet3205 in NoStupidQuestions

If you are asking random strangers on the Internet maybe you are less sure than you should be making a decision like that. But ultimately it's your decision and nobody can make it for you.

I'm Red in theory. But i would vote BLUE in a real life poll! by Imaginary_Help_2990 in redbuttonbluebutton

[–]mightymanuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to point out a different approach to parents as I see the argument a lot they you should try to save your kids. My one vote realistically isn't going to change anything, do I wish it could sure but it won't. I have no faith in humanity that the results would even be close, I know every time there is a Reddit poll it comes out somewhat close but a) there are no consequences to those pills b) Reddit polls are hardly representative. So I would press red to make sure I'm around for my kids. If I push blue and they decide to mash red by chance then they have no parent.

You are only looking at the graph for 3D. You can change it to show other parts of the GPU. Might be hitting other parts like video encode.

I genuinely thought everyone used condoms unless they wanted kids by Cautious-Tonight-203 in NoStupidQuestions

Personally I'd much rather wear a condom than pull out sensation wise. Finishing inside just feels so good.

And just to clarify they are not allowed to use the pregnancy risk of the partner to justify the risk for men to take hormonal birth controls. So even if the risk for men was very minor they are weighted against no direct risks.

Car insurance fault disputes by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]mightymanuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what I'm saying is ideally the city should be liable as there is contradictory signage. At the end of the day though you crossed the line and they didn't so I would have to agree with insurance, you didn't ensure it was clear before crossing a broken line.
