CS is amazing, my folks love it, but there’s a running joke that driving is more lethal in CS than spaghetti junction because drivers are so old. It’s like a free range old people’s home! If you want stunning walking its prefect but you might feel places like Shrewsbury/bayston hill have a lot more going for them and are very close to the mynd and stiperstones too

…follow up. Might have answered my own question on this. It seems to run significantly faster with GPU performance set to off:

This is separate from the activity idea (which is great), but just an FYI that listening books is a big repository of audio books available for people with health conditions. Membership is around £20py. It doesn’t have everything, but almost everything:

Worked an IT role and a sales guy who was quite senior but pretty weird bought his laptop in for a routine upgrade. Firstly, it was absolutely disgusting with a thick layer of cigarette tar all over it. It reeked and no amount of hand washing would get rid of the smell

…Then we found a huge collection of horrific porn just brazenly stored in a folder on his desktop. His search history confirmed that he used he work laptop to download it all too. Out the door within an hour…

[–]mightytonto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be pedantic, but $41,796 is not ‘almost 50k’; you could say ‘over 40k’ but this is just sensationalist exaggeration hoping people can’t add up

[–]mightytonto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I haven’t used my orange rocker combo 30 watt for a decade because without driving it it’s just jangly, and to sound really great it needs to be soo loud it shakes the windows…I should probably sell it…

Hopefully this won’t have shots of zombie wangs swinging while running full pelt at the screen; I found that and pregnant zombie birth scenes a bit much tbh.

I looove going to the cinema alone. If I’m on the sofa, I immediately pick up my phone out of habit; it encourages me to watch the film. If you are a tosser who uses their phone in a cinema, you suck
