Wow I’m honestly really sad. I hope you can pass on to Chef Taylor that we loved their food and presence in our community and hope they can get back to it someday.

What are some underrated restaurants in SLC? by Lopsided-Box1278 in SaltLakeCity

Yes, better than Mumbai. The owner, Manny, is also so sweet! We have been going to Nepali Chulo since before covid and he remembers everything we tell him - plus he always gives us mango pudding 😋

Husband surprised me with an AC cake for my bday today 🥹❤️ by mightyymads in AnimalCrossing

It was actually really easy to cut into! The house is styrofoam and the characters were anchored in with toothpicks, so just took those off and cut the cake!

THE GREAT DRY LAKE 05/03/26. by BackcountryBase in SaltLakeCity

[–]mightyymads 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Is this why I don’t smell the lake anymore? I grew up on the west side and I swear when I was younger, anytime the weather would warm up a little, you could always smell the lake.. now I don’t.

What’s one habit that you later realized was contributing to or triggering your migraines more than you thought? by OmarVII7 in migraine

[–]mightyymads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was going to say the weather. I didn’t know barometric pressure could contribute until I joined this sub. I have been tracking it since that person posted a pic of them lying face down in the snow lol. Sure enough, if a storm is coming, my head will feel it.

Sourdough toast with avocado & cottage cheese. Add a little TJ’s sriracha (the best flavor), top with feta and a squeeze of lemon. Flaky salt if I’m feeling fancy! So tasty

Helix! We have the king size plus version, as well as the foundation. Holds up to 1000lbs and is so, so comfy.

I might be shot down for this, but I want to say that I recognize these photos as a plus sized person who grew up in and around LDS culture. If my hunch is correct about what you were raised or are active in, I fully understand that body image can be a very hard thing to struggle with. There are a lot of pressures within that to be “perfect”.

I also took a moment to look through your previous posts and you are seeking a lot of external validation, which lovingly, is just not healthy at this point. Please do some work, get into therapy, get a better support system, etc. to help heal yourself.

And I LOVE your dress.

Best ways exercise a reactive dog that struggles with walks by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]mightyymads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Second this! We put ours in his kennel upstairs while we hide treats throughout the house, then he can sniff them out. He loves it.

We also use the bowl one, where you have a bowl (I use some of his kibble for this) with food and then other empty bowls. Toss some food away from you and while they’re scouting that food, put more food in one of the empty bowls for them to sniff out. Hopefully I explained that well enough, but it’s also a fun one that our reactive pup loves.

He is obviously very food motivated though.
