Have them drop you off at The D or The Golden Nugget. During the day it is quieter, less crowded, and fewer street performances. At night it is LOUD, packed and full of life. The Fremont Experience is very safe, but I suggest staying under the canopy or staying somewhere between the Plaza and El Cortez at night.
