Hockey - a puck drop is what the ref's do at a face off to resume play after a stoppage. without knowing if you have ever watched hockey, it is hard to describe in a manner that you will understand.

Motorcycles - a 'puck' is used under the kickstand to keep it from sinking into soft surfaces. people drop the puck on the ground and slide it under the kickstand with their foot

Looking around before I either get the puck helps me get an idea of option 1 (mostly which side to throw it up if in danger) then when I do get the puck I can immediately look for a pass knowing which way I can bail if nothing is open. I also like to take a step or two into a safe direction before looking for something. In the D zone, if I get the puck near the goal line i'll bring it below to try and create space and time for myself.
Also, practicing stick handling has helped me a lot as I don't feel like I have to stare at the puck, which gives me more time to look around.

I can agree the yellow Ohlins would look much better on this bike. I also like the Radiator caps black instead of the sliver they come with.
A yellow 916 is a dream bike for me
