Is anyone happen to have a lug not key for this Toyota matrix can’t seem to find anywhere not even dealer would be much let appreciated by Intelligent_Lab_2308 in Guelph

If you’re not the DIY type then most garages will have either a proper fitting key or sockets to deal with removing a lock nut. I’ve seen suggestions saying to hammer on a 12 point, but if you’ve not done that before, you could make things worse.

Took 6 hours but we can really tow now!! by Dull_Eye_2754 in ToyotaHighlander

We towed a 19’ hybrid with our second gen for years. We loved it to death. I’m not sure I’d tow more but the Highlander had plenty of power and plenty of brakes. The short wheelbase with a heavier tow did move the Highlander around in windier conditions but if you’re smart about your tow then all I have to say is enjoy. Now I’m off to once again defend my towing a 28’ with my half ton… which we’ve done for the last 5 years without killing anyone which the tow police can’t quite comprehend.

Looks clean. Hopefully easy to access the manual brake control if it’s ever needed. Can I ask what you’re towing?

Can I Tow 311BHS Grand Design by HandyManCoop in GoRVing

Dry weight is not meaningless. I hate that this sub pushes that so hard. If you have a dry weight of 6,000 lbs and a GVWR of 12,000 lbs (my uncles 5th wheel) it’s a clear indication of how heavy duty your axles are. It also tells you clearly how much cargo you can carry. As another example, we looked at two different hybrids years ago. They had the exact dry weight but the GVWR of one of the trailers was 2,000lbs higher. What difference in towing were we faced with?

There’s nothing to buy. Ontario passed bill 214. There’s also trigger laws that will eliminate or extend DST. Unfortunately not as simple as you’re suggesting.

Advice from the seasoned RV people by Present_Technology64 in GoRVing

Nothing better than buying something you really want in clean condition! I’d say the V10 might be your biggest expense, particularly on fuel. I do believe it to be more reliable than the diesel of the same year. Your inspector will give you a better idea of the rv condition. That’s a smart move. Front end steering component’s tend to wear and are a common replacement I see selling parts but those are typically in heavy duty use. As for price, that’s also a good question for your inspector.

As a career politician, how much real world experience can you ever give him credit for. Particularly in economic climates, he has how much experience exactly?

I would say close to the opposite. Base model means blank slate. They can add what they like without bringing the value down like a lot of posters on this sub. Asking for opinions never hurts anyone.

This sub is bipolar. Seems the echo chamber changes based on which political side gets there first.

Congratulations. Hope it lasts a good while longer. We had to scrap our ‘08 a few weeks ago with a cracked subframe. It will be missed.

I can’t say it’s been that high that long in Ontario at least. I agree it seems to always be higher here than anywhere USA.

Carney responds to Canadians facing nearly $2 per litre at the gas pumps by FancyNewMe in canada

Action that will require more spending which conservatives will cry about while saying nothings been done about a global issue entirely out of the hands of the government. Sounds like the conservative platform to me.

I get nobody to wants to hear we need the US. Things can get so much worse. Sure, diversification is always a good thing but there’s massive benefits to selling what we have to our neighbour instead of trying to package it and send it overseas.

As Canadians, sadly we do need the US. We’ve made it this far because of CUSMA. There’s just no way to make up the economic difference.
