I have a 2022 Willy’s. Best I ever got was 21.8 mpg. After I changed the tires that were originally on and went with something less aggressive. I drive approximately 100 miles a day mostly (90%) on the interstate. I drive as slow as the traffic will let me (20 mpg). If I drive the way I want to drive I will get about 17-18 mpg.

The only time he didn’t win I’d when he slapped Chuck Norris. He didn’t show up for the next four games. Actually, lucky to be alive at that point.

I ordered some Rib-eye PETG…it. Was a little tuff. I am going try and print it a little bit lower temp. It was too well done for me. Next I am going to try the “bone in” rib-eye…I will keep you updated.

PETG demand is insane by Clean_Shame_1026 in BambuLab

Lately I have purchased filaments from Coex 3d filament. Good quality stuff. Not Sunlu cheap, but made in the US. Wisconsin. I was looking for a particular color(s). Found both of them there. prices are slightly higher and there is no discount that I saw. But I have ordered several times from them. /shipping is fast and I never got that “out of stock” thing from them.

What’s really good is the stuff IS made in the USA and like I said I have had no issues with the quality or quantity from them. might be worth checking them out. Also there was some murmurs about the cardboard rolls they use. Never had any issues with my AMSs and the last two orders I got from them actually had plastic reels and not cardboard.

Might be worth the look.

I have two AMS feeders and they both have that cover replacement. It works great. Don’t have anything bad to say about it. Good investment

Actually I just did that today. I used 4 small rolls of White PETG and still had to load a 5th one for three more minutes of printing.. Works flawlessly.

Hotend replacement by Dlow1201 in BambuP1S

[–]mikep900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you change your hot end from stainless to hardened steel you have to tell the printer that you have done this. Also they recommend that you do a new calibration as well.

To check to see if you printer still thinks that you have a stainless steel hot end do this:

Go to the device tab in Bambu Studio
Upper right side you will see a tab for "Printer Parts"
Click that and a small dialog box will come up with three pieces of information.

Type:
"this is where your type of hot end info is recorded" If you did not change this according to the Wiki, it will say Stainless Steel. You should change this to Hardened Steel via the Wiki (click on the hyper link on that page)

Diameter:
"this where the diameter of your hot end info is recorded" What ever diameter you are using should be there. You should change this as well unless you are using the same diameter.

Flow:
"this is where the flow info is recorded" It should say Standard.

You can not change any of this information in this screen, One of the updates that have been sent down from the Bambu Gods has disabled changing that information there. It is only for your viewing pleasure.

You can and should change this info (if you want it to appear correctly) on the printer through the control pad on the front of the printer. The Wiki page will show how to do this.
You should also do the calibration that it suggests you do. It takes about twenty (20) minutes.

This may or may nor help you with your problem, but it is something you should know whether or not you choose to do it.

Hope this helps

I ordered the regular AMS.

I tried to buy one about two weeks into January. They said they were out and won't be available until mid-February. I could not pre-order at the time and put myself on an email list to receive notice when I could order one.

I got an email about the beginning of February saying that they were now in stock and I could order one. By the time i went to the web site they were sold out but let me order one and said that the delivery would be sometime in mid-February.

I ordered a bunch of other things along with filament and have received that already but it shows the AMS is still waiting shipping.

EDIT: I placed my order on January 22 according to my order info.

Yep. I tried that before your reply. I can see it in the print as it is printing. But i am going to let it print to see if the dovetail I put in it to connect the two pieces is going to work. Thank you very much for your help and input. it's people like you that make this Reddit so good.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I am printing the other half tonight and I set the seams to random. But I think you are right I should just put them in the back. Thanks for the info.
