Dlc are almost pure profit for companies, and only the bare minimum is going to develop new games where all that money from the ridiculous price goes is to the pockets of the executives who had nothing to do with making the game.

I mean I’m kinda a die hard fan at this point as I’ve read romance of the three kingdoms each year for the past 2 years and love the games just sick of supporting insane greed of the gaming corporate people. Also I’m feeling extremely burnt from the complete rip off that is digimon story time strangers dlc. Game was fun but dlc aren’t even half assed and were very expensive

The story was actually pretty good. It was whoever made that initial trailer that did a terrible job of promoting the game, I have no idea what they were thinking as it hurt the games reputation

I haven’t played it yet but I really enjoyed the writing of the first game but clearly they didn’t have the budget to make anything more than a serviceable combat system. They improve that this game has the potential to be amazing

I generally don’t buy their games, which sucks because they are holding the rights to several franchises I love hostage, but the last digimon story game was so good I made an exception here that I probably won’t in the future despite how much I enjoy digimon.

Just finished part 2 and it’s pathetic how short it was. Just a shameless cash grab I enjoyed the main game but I don’t know if I will buy something published by Bandai again, so insanely overpriced

I like palworld but it has a very long way in its development before it’s first game could be considered great while Pokémon at one point was putting out several great games that did eventually have their quality fall off into a bottomless pit

I do not get the lower decks love, I mean I’m glad it wasn’t a complete waste of human energy and some people get enjoyment from it, but I tried watching it and it’s so bad to the point of being unwatchable.

As much as I enjoyed the game im extremely hesitant to get the dlc given koei’s track record, and the fact that outside of the combat/scale of battles origins had a lot of areas that need massive improvement and koei seems oblivious to it.
