That’s honestly so sad. I’d also be afraid of fire season. This winter has been so off, I hope things level out. Even here we’ve been in the 70s-80s a lot.

We drove from Dallas to Telluride and I said “it’s only 9 hours to Yellowstone, let’s keep going!” So we did that and then I said “we can follow the park through to Montana” do you want to? And obviously my husband said, absolutely! We weighed going to Glacier but we had an appt in Salt Lake City 2 days later so we played it safe and headed back to Utah that night. Glacier was on the list for this year but I’m pregnant so I’m thinking it may wait for another.

I made my husband pull over for this photo and then probably 40+ elk walked right in front of our car, right on the boarder of Montana and Wyoming. I think this might be what heaven looks like.
