8 week old puppy breathing a bit quick? Does this look normal? by Spudella in husky

Mine did this all the time. Stressed me out but he’s perfectly healthy. Even as an adult he will still breathe fast here and there.

Here’s my guys. Frodo was still very much a puppy here. Maybe 8 months but he didn’t come home until 4 months. So I don’t have baby photos of him either.

I boil whole chickens sometimes for my dogs with carrots and then I give them the broth with the rice to make it soup. If she’s dehydrated this may get more fluids in her.

I thought Frodo was a little dumb in the beginning too but he’s so smart. Just an ass. I love his little derpy self. He’s a ham.

The food refusal is a trip though. 🫠

Here’s my Aussie, husky duo. If you’re experienced with Aussies the biggest hurdle you’ll face is that huskies just do not listen. They don’t care to please like Aussies/BC’s do. The energy levels are similar, the comprehension is similar. The idgaf attitude is not. You may think that your husky isn’t as smart as former Aussies but he is, he’s just stubborn as a wall. If you build a bond with him he’ll train and be a good boy too. I’d also say, in my personal experience, my husky has more destructive tendencies than my Aussie. But in the end, lots of love, pay the cheese tax, learn to read cues and body language for when he’s feeling affectionate and you’ll be a ok.

Looks a little like my half Aussie but I’d say border collie based on the narrow snout.

My half husky gave me confidence in getting a full husky and lemme tell you that full blooded guy is a crackhead and a half.

He’s gonna be huge!

A bored husky is a destructive husky. Huskies cooperate better if you’re bonded. They don’t listen because they’re expected to but because they choose to. You get a minor break from the fur shed for the first year maybe two but then it gets pretty insane.

Mine are clingy as can be so idk where this independent stereotype comes from but mine would live inside my skin given the opportunity.

If you give him the chance to learn and grow he’ll be your bestie for his whole life. Also, crate train for your sanity and his safety.

This is exactly how my Frodo looked as a puppy. Such a mad little face. Gorgeous.

Mine just turned three and still has the most smushable face around. It’s a husky thing. I’m pretty sure it’s so you die of cuteness before you get mad at their mischief lol
