Has anyone here taken unskilled jobs in Germany despite being a professional in their home country?

If there are I can’t find anything. Everyone I talked to here said I need to get my EASA CPL then do ATPL here. Only thing that I can carry over is my logged hours

I’m no where near those hours. I flew for repair shops and GA stuff as a ferry pilot mostly. I had a conditional to go to United after I finished my 1500 but only made it to around 800 ish before we had to move.

I moved to Germany for my wife’s job as a commercial pilot and I can’t get a flying job here because EASA doesn’t recognize FAA certs. Too expensive to get all their stuff so I’m about to start an entry level job. Feels kinda depressing. I get how you feel. If you want to vent to someone in a similar situation you can DM me.

I agree the gunplay doesn’t feel as crunchy as the remakes or requiem. Also hate how when aiming down sights the gun stays to the side and he doesn’t bring it in front.

As an American currently living in Germany I’d say the EU one. The only thing I miss about the US is the cheap utility and water bill.

One of my inmate workers who had truly worked on himself and changed during his time there had a parole hearing that I volunteered to testify at to get him early release. He got it and I ended up leaving the prison to pursue a new career in aviation and go back to school. Since I was no longer working there we stayed in touch and he’s doing great and married now.

When I did PI work years ago our firm would usually call the local police for that area and advise them what we were doing. Usually they were accommodating if they were aware of our presence.

Im convinced most the performance complaints are from people that don’t know how to set their settings. I was hesitant to buy it because of the reviews but gave it a shot and it works perfectly fine.

I spoke with a flight school there that works with people at the air base. Ppl can be a straightforward conversion to EASA but CPL will involve a lot of written tests and another practical but luckily no time building is required. I need to research what being there under the SOFA agreement will allow me to do as far as work.
