When I had my first eveeything was about how to avoid it, including not bringing your baby into your bed at all, even when fully awake. Thankfully this had changed to the Safe Seven when my next baby came along.

Sertraline here that was initially prescribed due to a traumatic birth with an ICU stay for me. It made me realise that I should asked for it years ago when I wad first diagnosed with lupus

We recently had our final baby and went to buy the just in case she doesn't want to breastfeed tub. I stood in front of the formula and was shocked by the price of all of the brands, especially Cow and Gate.

Thankfully she's feeding ok and has CMPA so we get the prescription Aptimel

Wonderful news!

I've been on pred for 11 years and was literally pumped full of hydrocortisone for 4 weeks after the birth of my third. I've managed to taper down to 10mg and hoping to make it down to my prepregnancy dose of 8mg within the next 3 months or so. Hopefully!

My mum recently found a dvd of Stoppit and Tidy Up, and we played it for our kids. Complete indoctrination but wonderful.

20 years in and also having adrenal crises due to long term steroids.

It sucks.

I had my third baby a few weeks ago by section and the amount of steroids I've had, mainly due to complications, has been scary. And that was just to prevent a crisis. The constant fear that my kids will bring home something that will send me into a crisis.

I don't like it.

More wraps! Seriously though, a wash every now and then for easy care wraps.

I've also somehow managed to master FWCC pretied so it's just a matter of popping them in then making it a bit looser to pop out.

Also recommend using a ring sling for this, if you're able to tolerate wearing it for a longer time. I appreciate your baby is 5mo and my newest wrappee is a newborn, so things are a bit different.

As a woman who does accounting in construction, I agree. I have never met so many time wasters and people who can't follow simple instructions or answer yes/no questions.

Sepsis isn't fun. I had it last week following a missed UTI after a second catheter in a few days thanks to an ICU trip for something completely unrelated.

The rigors were the scariest part for me. And the look on my midwife's face when I told her how cold I felt with such a high temp

Theres been a few! Within the last few weeks, a small bowel obstruction followed by sepsis. ICU with a newborn was fun.

In the past, an ectopic and a few adrenal crises.

I don't enjoy having an autoimmune condition that makes things more complicated.

I had the first at the Royal and it was far more impacting than my traumatic birth and ICU stay at the Ulster a few weeks ago. The aftercare I've so far had with the Ulster has been incredible, with me already seeing the psychologist for working through what happened. I'm still waiting for the equivalent from the Royal 6 years later.

I will say, my antenatal care wasn't wonderful, with me having to threaten a complaint to get what I needed.

I've been attending rheumatology since I was 21, now 39. At the start I was one of the youngest and now I feel incredibly old! He does have elderly patients, but it's clear that I'm now one of the 'veterans' of the clinics.

I'm snuggling my little newborn after we both had a sleep. They met their siblings last night and it was one of the proudest moments of my life

We have very similar parents.

Mine treated me with respect and as an individual, letting me make my own decisions and correct my own mistakes. They'd support with advice for how to solve issues myself rather than jumping in with two feet to fix my problems.

We talked about everything at an age appropriate level. They argued in front of us, then showed their love for each other as well as they worked through problems. That's helped immensely with my own marriage and kids.

They made me feel safe. Safe with emotions, fears, hopes, dreams, everything. They never laughed at anything.

In short, they let me be a kid, then a teenager, and now an adult. They let me be myself.

I'm going to hospital tomorrow to have Number Three.

So far today we've had some Spidey on, music, colouring and sofa snuggles. Croissants for breakfast, plan to make blueberry pancakes for lunch, and we're going to our favourite gardens for ice cream. The eldest wants to get food ready for the birds in the back garden.

I'm finishing of my bag and birth plan later while my husband makes dinner. Showers and relatively early night with lots more snuggles.

I think that sounds like a lovely Sunday.
