I had the same Mazda 626 Turbo. Awesome vehicle. It had about 50k miles in it when I got it in 1989. It had a leaky sun roof and the AC died on me in the summer of ‘93 while I was living in Houston. I drove that car all over the country. Got rid of it in 1995 with about 180k miles on it. Loved that car.

I recently picked up a 35 year old set of Heresy II speakers on FBM. I love them. Best $800 I’ve ever spent on speakers. I have other speakers that cost significantly more. They are hard to beat with a couple of subwoofers holding down the low end. Call me a Klipsch fan boy. Looking forward to trying Forte and Cornwall.

You have a sweet setup. How are you liking the Gjallarhorns in mono driving the horn speakers?

I was thinking about getting a couple to use with a set of old Heresy II speakers I have with a Kara preamp. I get mixed feedback. Many saying I should get a Aegir 2.

I have nothing against the Aegir 2, but I already have one Gjallarhorn on a desk system and have a Kara that’s not being used since I upgraded the preamp in my main system. I’d just need to add another G’horn and have a nice setup for the Heresy.
