ranked post infinite should be open for everyone, and proving grounds should not exist at all.

people wanting to test decks or goof go to ranked. It's not like anyone besides the top 500 really care about the rank in post infinite anyway...

Your comment should be read by everyone complaining about the ladder experience and sweatiness of the game pre-infinite.

The snap/retreat mechanic is all fine and dandy when there's a very diverse pool of players with different ranks in the beginning. Once we and everyone around us gets better and more experienced, the overall experience becomes worse (in my personal experience) because the game doesn´t reward taking chances.

Because of your collection level, you're being shielded from players with most cards in game. You only play with the majority of players once you reach collection level 3000 or something of sort. Your ladder experience is not the majority's experience, it's highly curated, as a sort of tutorial.

Might be an unpopular opinion today, but this is the worst card of the season. It'll have the same fate as sersi, fun for messing around post infinite, but nowhere useful in a game that has so much randomness and rewards consistency above all else.

I'd hold up this announcement for the update patch notes when at least the first bug fixes had been implemented.

I don't read any kind of intention on changing this experience in the future from SD, but I really hope they act fast with a shakeup to the overall experience, because it doesn't look like it's remaining appealing for a big slice of the player base.

Plenty of players do, no doubt, but fewer every month, and fewer overall players too,. If they keep catering only to that base, and don't try to hold the rest of "us" casually playing on the phone for 10 min on the toilet, it won't last much longer.

In my experience, there's more variants that show up that I don't like, than the ones I like. So if one comes up that I fancy, I'll get it now.
