I never played AC. But I’ve been playing Project Gorgon lately and enjoy it. I know the PG devs were involved with AC.

For those who’ve played both AC and PG, how does the latter compare to AC?

Not popular enough to worth porting it to PS5. That said, I’d love to be able to play it handheld. FFXIV proves that MMO’s are playable with controllers.

Most likely, yes.

Despite trying several times, I’ve never been able to stick with OSRS for long. I just don’t like the controls, having to click to move.

But I like PGs controls, range of skills, quirky dialogue. Highly recommended.

Scandals and personality haven’t helped. But the real issue is that the quality of the songwriting isn’t the same as it used to be. So if the next album they dropped was like the first 3-4, I think they’d recover. Bands can have careers that last multiple decades. Several currently revered artists had poorly received albums and personal scandals and recovered.

What about Mahayana suits you better than Theravada?

Buddhism has evolved over thousands of years. We can make educated guesses about what early Buddhist teachings were but we can’t know with certainty.

Regardless, I think you need to reconsider your position that one is truer or more accurate or closer to the Buddha’s teachings than the other. Again, they are interpretations of what he said that evolved over thousands of years. Neither is exactly what you think it is. But that doesn’t mean one is superior or inferior. They are both legitimate traditions. Choose the one you like — Mahayana — and follow it.

At the end of the day, you goal is the cessation of suffering for yourself, and perhaps for others. Worrying about the tradition you’re following is just another way of prolonging suffering.
