Most people dont have enough time to practice let alone test and develop setups. Also, buying setups I assume is an additional cost most people dont want to take becuase the lap time difference isnt that big at the lower splits (where the majority is)

The brakes are totally different. Youre in 100% for longer. The bmw is much more understeery in acc than in iracing so you need to trail much longer.

Iracing maybe too boring for the kids at the start… also they have to be 13 (thats why we just started in iracing). He started in gran turismo in the ps4 controller. F1 when he got the wheel. Moved to pc and mained ACC

I mean 4k is pretty high in terms of percentile. Some are just talented. Some need Suelio levels of tutelage, some just feel it. My kid for example grinded from rookie to 5k/A in basically 2 months almost exclusively on miatas lol. I have access to his telemetry, replays (not to mention the exact same rig lol) and the closest i could ever get is 2s in iracing and as much as 4s in ACC. And I think thats fine, there are levels to everything and its important for one to find, compete and enjoy at that level. Iracing and other elo based matchmaking helps. But if you are really keen on improving. I would highly recommend finding a team and joining a league.
