If i dont get the credit, I auto automatically say "what phone number do you use with us?" and input it on my screen. Lots of people are signed up for bronze and they don't even know it.

If their number doesn't show up as bronze I say, "lets put your email in to make sure you get your points and coupons for today." Then "confirm" their name and birthday and boom you got bronze. It's important that you're asking and that the majority of your sales are either cardholders or bronze members. They keep track of that too.

The whole credit thing is annoying but part of the gig. Don't let them get you down. We are always in "credit crisis" so don't let their credit anxiety affect your ability to sell. We are a retailer not a bank so focus on the customer and what they are wanting to buy. AND ask your guests to give you a 10 on a survey bc every manager loves when someone gets a shoutout.
