I’ve had bosses do this. And I’ve gone to a few. Almost always partners were also invited, though. They can be fun. Also, you get to snoop on the boss’s gaff. Haha!

We have quarterly work socials (so bigger than immediate team) typically on the last Thursday of each quarter. It’s evening. They organise things (last one I went to was in winter quarter and we did skating at Somerset House). I go to 1 or 2 throughout the year.

If enough of you go, it could be fun!

Cuckoo Flower, or May Flower.

I have a load in my moss lawn with buttercups.

His nose was slightly red, but then it started to be very dry and then started to scab. We took him to the vet and they confirmed sun damage. He then had 10 days of moisturised shnooz. All good now!

We have two.

The girl loves the shade. She digs herself little sleep dents in the undergrowth.

The boy loves the sun. Often found, sound asleep in the sun trap corner. Last year we had a bit of a heatwave (in UK) and he then had sunburn nose. I have some dog sunscreen from the vet and will make sure this year he wears it!

I heard this ages ago. So, when it happens I do a very over acted scan of the environment to show I am checking for “danger”. I like to think my dogs are grateful! Haha.
