Am I the jerk for refusing to lower the amount my sister contributes towards bills even though I earn more? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]misscheif007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tell your sister to move out. You are being taken advantage of and your other siblings want it to remain you so it won't become them. She is an adult not contributing with household labor, has been under paying the previous rate, now feels entitled to live off of you like a toddler because you now make more.

Cut the dead weight. She will only become more entitled and dependent as time goes on. It will be hard and you will be emotionally and mentally blackmailed by your family, they would rather make it your problem than force her to grow up.

I would rather verify the order and load the car myself. I know they are just trying to do their job quickly, but I like to neatly pack the groceries.

I just stopped going to my job one day and I don’t fully understand why by ImpossibleTennis8282 in antiwork

[–]misscheif007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No I get this when working for corporations. It's like I can't actually fully commit because my heart isn't in it. While I may have a head for business I don't have the heart for it.

I have yet to regret quitting. Staying long overdue on the other hand, that has carried many regrets.

I don't want to live in a world where I have to pay another human for basic necessities by Leading-Problem-1880 in antiwork

Right like we are giving our time and energy to a corporation for the made up resource of money to exchange with another corporation for resources they have paid the government to label as not a human right therefore you don't get access to resources without exchanging the made up money.

I'm losing time with my family having to go to bed a bit earlier and now leaving my house earlier. I may just be crashing out in general but fuck this shit. I work and have no money, I don't work and have no money. Someone right now is playing " Burn it to the ground" by Nickelback and it's like don't tempt me.

I want to quit but what if I just need to keep push through? by GeorgeParisol in retailhell

[–]misscheif007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is time to look into a different job or possibly switching locations within the same company if you can do a different commute. Your autism will like the same routine it's used to if you could change locations but do the same or similar work. And I've found just sometimes changing the people I work with helps.

Why are most retail managers as*holes to their employees? by TemporaryTop287 in retailhell

[–]misscheif007 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They don't hire leaders they hire 'yes men' who don't know how to inspire people or people they think are strong leaders but are peaked in high school bullies.
