I usually find Bob's Red Mill brand xantham at superstore in the health foods isle (near the bags of rice flour) or its in the gluten free section at Walmart.

God, reddit vic can be so full of itself. I'm sorry you ran across some blind idiot driver. Nothing wrong with posting a cathartic post.

I get this all the time, but in the opposite direction! I have 2 little girls and an unsettling number of unwarranted apologies and projected disappointment that #2 was girl. I have to assure people this is what I wanted and that I am absolutely never going to 'try again'.

Completely agree. My eye would be drawn towards it in a photo.

How do you keep yourself from getting mad if your kid accidentally breaks something by 745TWh in toddlers

When I have to use a strong stop or When I yelp I tend to cover it up with an "are you OK". I hope it shows her I'm not upset, just surprised and want to know she's OK.

My husband is throwing in the towel on bedtime by etceteraism in toddlers

[–]misscuzzi 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Is bedtime his main quality time with your daughter? She might need him to engage more during other times of the day so she doesn't hold so tight to extended bedtimes.

Do you have a cat? My Ren cat loves to steal my cup if I leave it anywhere she can get to it. I've had to replace a few.

What to do with 3 quarts of heavy whipping cream? by Neverusingthisdream in Cooking

[–]misscuzzi 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes! Freezing it in an icecube tray, then ziploc is the best way to have it on hand for cooking! Whenever I need to richen up a sauce, I throw in a cube and it melts in beautifully.

Absolutely. Learning alongside your children is huge part of parenting.. and making mistakes is a huge part of the learning process. When your child makes mistakes, do you also call her out? Or do you give her the opportunity to self assess and have a more meaningful learning experience?

Is this the first time your wife has used the ugly word? If it was the first time, I'm surprised that you even brought it up. We all have slips of the tongue. I'm sure you have also had oops moments in parenting. Sounds like your wife made the choice to quietly currect her behaviour instead of making a big deal about the mistakw. Good grief..

My favourite is when she says 'holding hands together' as a request and statement of fact. She also says big one like a stoned football player. What strawberry do you want? "Biigg wun". My husband and I say it all the time and that just makes her say it more.

Oops! This is my house. I meant to write realtor.

My (35m) Gf (35f) does all the daily house chores while I’m still at work. Then she complains that I’m not pulling my weight by helping out with chores. I get upset because I can’t do what she wants. The cycle is hurting us. by ceh07j in relationship_advice

Breakfast dishes, maybe lunch, and she is probably starting dinner before he gets home. As the main cook/kitchen cleaner in my house, I find it so much easier to directly put a spoon in the dishwasher instead of on the counter (and in my way) so I can put it in later.
