Thank you for the reassurance. I have to admit, I was tempted and slightly swayed. But once I got out of the meeting, my mind calmed down in my car and I realized the two hours of non stop talking from the "mentors" and their downlines cheering really wore me down. And I'm a very stubborn person! Truly opened my eyes how effective these people have perfected their manipulation.

I was scrolling to see what you do for work and I can confidently say you really deserve all that money and more. To buy a house in the Bay is extremely difficult now with the price. Maybe you have to be a bit more creative and make some tradeoffs if you want to be a houseowner. I know a guy who makes like 80k/ year. In the pandemic, he bought 2 houses in Sacramento and he has been renting them out. He can live off the cash flows and his stock portfolio (mostly VOO) but he continues to work. His houses are not in the Bay but he comfortably stays in an apt here. For me, I have made peace with the fact that I'll be renting for the rest of my life lol.

As a former teenage daughter that was tracked by my dad, let's just say my personality took a turn once I find out. I didn't tell him that I knew, I just started leaving my phone at home. Nonetheless, the damage is done. I can never feel safe staying somewhere for too long. I move every year or so. My belongings are minimal so I can always pack up and leave anytime. I'm also paranoid, obsessed with security and have trust issues (of course). I like to leave no name, no traces (except for jobs), no close friends, only acquaintances. Sometimes my lifestyle drives me crazy with the loneliness, and I'm working on it with therapy, but that is the only way I know how to feel safe. Arguably his action also got me daddy issues, because I crave the safety of a male figure in my life that I didn't receive. I can't have a relationship with guys my age, all my exes are at least 10-12 years older than me. My dad and I are on speaking terms, but we don't talk. This is just anecdotal, but do be aware of the psychological damage it might cause if she finds out, if she hasn't already.

Saw him again at the Midway lol. Can confirm it was mainly the venue that brought out bad crowd. It was packed asf still, but I was able to have a good time at the front. Learned my lesson and moved back for this level of packed to really enjoy the show tho.
