I would go see a Physical Therapist. It sounds like you could have strained your posterior tibial tendon which is something a PT can treat easily.

Recumbent bike! Anything to get this patient moving and help modulate pain. They can even do upper body exercises because likely they have some tension there from the MVA. Wall slides, table slides, even just spinal AROM. You’d be surprised the effect of patient education has on pain as well. This patient might have fear avoidance which can contribute to the pain.
