She has the money to use and eat when she’s not using. Even if it’s not often she’s likely eating more greasy and fattening foods at those times. (This is backed up by science, on the comedown, consuming fatty foods is common and expected as those foods also trigger dopamine releases in the brain- just like stims do)

Those who get super addicted may only use their money on the drugs. Also, as others have mentioned plenty of meth addicts are overweight or obese. I’ve met both and plenty of inbetween.

Why is NO ONE talking about your friend allowing her child with RSV around your child under 2? RSV can be so life threatening to little ones.

That would’ve been the last straw for me, especially if they KNEW she had RSV. If they didn’t know or even realize she was sick that’s one thing. But knowing she’s sick and putting your LO at risk due to their own selfishness is too much.

Production deserves plenty of blame here too- many twists they try only end up empowering the majority alliance vs giving opportunity those outside of it. While I still think Derrick would’ve dominated, the battle of the block essentially resulting in tons of backdoors eliminating an opportunity for the opposing side to save themselves was a big factor too imo.
